"As someone who has struggled with acne since age 13 (I'm not 32), I have tried many different products and "solutions" for acne. One day, about a decade ago, I made the smart decision to get a facial and the esthetician told me that my skin type is dry, rather than oily. I set out on a mission to keep my skin moisturized but with varying degrees of success. In my late 20's, I began getting break outs for the first time on my neck and began suffering with what looked to be hormonal acne. I was resigned to having to deal with acne for the rest of my life without solutions, as it seemed nothing worked. On a whim last year, I grabbed the Murad acne care starter kit. To my delight, I immediately saw results. I recently added the Triple Acne Serum into my daily routine. Can I use the multi acid peel and the follow with the retinol youth renewal serum? Can I do this as part of a daily routine?
Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel can be used before retinol, and we recommend performing this regimen at night.
Are you only supposed to use this in the PM? The directions list it for PM use but one of the answers on here indicates that it could be used in the am instead. I would like to use in the am so I can use a retinol serum in the pm but want to verify that is an okay option.
It is okay to use in the morning but please be sure to use SPF and reapply every 2 hours to maintain protection.
What is the percentage of AHA in this product.
First let me start by stating that we disclose the percentage of an ingredient only when it is an “active ingredient” in other words, an OTC (over-the-counter), FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approved ingredient. Here at Murad, as part of our Corporate policy, we do not disclose percentages in our high performance formulations as this information is considered proprietary.
