    I was a devoted user of the Anti-Aging Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30. I am soooo sad Murad discontinued this product! They sent me Superactive Moisturizer SPF 50: Mattifying Oil + Pore Control and said it was similar. Unfortunately, I find this one to be much thicker/heavier, more scented, and in general more like regular sunscreen than a nice light face lotion. The good thing is that it works well as sunscreen. Please bring back the other product!

    I can't tell an immediate difference between the two formulas. They both smell and even feel the same on the skin. I appreciate the the added spf in the new formula especially since I live in Florida. I have darker skin and I love how it leaves a matte soft and even finish but no white cast. I took a point off because of the pump. You still have to squeeze the product down the tube, then pump, so I don't really see this as an upgraded feature.

    I'm torn! I love how this sunscreen feels when I apply it (its a semi-thick velvety texture) and the glow it gives my skin while still mattifying though it definitely had ZERO affect on my acne. I used this for a little over a month and was getting pimples all over (with little change to my routine) -- I don't think it was in response to the product but I do think the produce didn't "precision-deliver" quite well as my acne stayed with me for days if not longer. \n\nALSO it DOES NOT, layer well under makeup -- particularly my primers. I use the Danessa Myricks water powder serum (and then switched to the Maybelline grip serum). . . with both products my sunscreen would lift and move with the product, showing me that it doesn't absorb into the skin well. I once waited hours before doing my makeup and it still lifted, mixing/moving with the primer.
