I'm 55, should I be using the retinal or the retinol cream? I have some sagging and a few wrinkles around the eye area.
Retinal is one step from active retinoic acid, making it faster-acting and more potent. Retinol requires two conversion steps, making it gentler and slower for beginners.
I am puzzled by the jar. I used two of the Retinol Skin Renewal jars before with the Resculpt jar, twisting the silver portion removes it totally. If I twist just the upper portion of the lid I am left with a cover with a hole in it that at first I thought was a kind of pump, but that stopped working. If I remove the next layer of the lid, I'm left with a narrow columnar opening which I have to insert my finger. Is it supposed to open like a normal jar, so I can just get the cream out?
