Does this need to be reapplied throughout the day to maintain protection?
Yes. An SPF 15 protects against 94% of UVB rays whiles an SPF 30 protects against 97%. Anything higher is only about a 1% increase which can provide people with a false sense of security. In light of the various factors that can decrease protection we do recommend reapplying once every 2 hours to maintain a constant level of protection, regardless of the SPF. Believe it or not, a significant amount of sun damage happens when you’re in the car. While a typical car window protects you from 100% of the sun’s UVB rays (the ones that cause sunburns), they don’t provide protection from UVA rays (the ones responsible for sun damage and aging skin).
The sunscreen I currently use can be used on my eyelids and around my eyes and I have had no issues. Can I use Clear Coat in the same way?
You do not want to apply it any closer than the orbital bone around the eye. Your body heat will allow the product to spread across the skin.

Yes, it should be fine however with younger skin, Dr Murad always advises performing a patch test.
