What is the glycolic acid percentage in this product?
First let me start by stating that we disclose the percentage of an ingredient only when it is an “active ingredient” in other words, an OTC (over-the-counter), FDA (Food &amp; Drug Administration) approved ingredient. Here at Murad, as part of our Corporate policy, we do not disclose percentages in our high performance formulations as this information is considered proprietary. What I can share with you is that Dr. Murad creates formulas based on a result not a percentage. Our products are designed to treat a specific concern within the skin, keeping in mind our Whole-Person Health approach.
How often should this as well as the clarifying spray be used to maximize effectiveness?
You want to use them every day. If you do not shower every day at least every other day for the body wash but every day for the Clarifying Body Spray.
Can the body be used to treat scalp acne?
We have not tested the product for that.
Will this body wash reduce existing acne scarring? I have severe acne scarring on my back in addition to active breakouts.
Because the body wash exfoliates it can help to bring new skin to the surface that may help pigmentation reduce but a treatment product is the best option. I would have you consider the Invisiscar.
