I wanted this to work but it didn't.
I was excited to try this because I love their Acne Clearing Treatment but this stuff did not do anything for me besides cause irritation. I will go back to using the original acne clearing solution!

Just one week
Ive been using this product twice a day for a whole week. I suffer from really small white heads all over my forehead and have tried every product to reduce or get rid of them. After using this product I notice a huge difference in my skin it is not drying and has reduced not only the bumps on my forehead but my pores in general/

Irritated my skin
I used the Murad anti-aging acne cleanser and it worked pretty well. I thought I would try this out as a cheaper option but it made me break out even worse. It gave me cystic acne on my cheeks. I also broke out in little red patches of tiny bumps. I have oily skin but this product gave me dry patches which turned into pimples. I didn’t change anything else in my regimen so I know it was this product. Already returned it.

Effective lightener
I have some dark pigmentation on my face and elsewhere from many years of sun exposure. I have had fruit acid peels, laser treatments, etc., and spent plenty of money trying to lighten my dark spots. After using this product for about a month, I could definitely ser a difference in a very stubborn spot on my left cheek. This thing has resisted other chemical lighteners and laser treatments, to my great frustration. This OTC, reasonably priced gel has done more to brighten ny skin than many other, far more expensive products!

Ingredients

Niacinamide

Penta-Acid Technology

Dr. Murad’s combination of 5 powerful acids—salicylic acid combined with lysophosphatidic acid, hydroxydecanoic acid, sebacic acid and glycolic acid—help clear skin and prevent future breakouts.

  • Salicylic acid

  • Salicylic acid reduces the severity of acne, helps keep skin clear by preventing formation of new acne and allows skin to heal.

  • Hydroxydecanoic acid and sebacic acid

  • Commonly found in royal jelly, these two ingredients are fatty acids with purifying properties. Clinical testing has shown that these ingredients can reduce sebum and are fast-acting sebum regulators.

  • Lysophosphatidic acid

  • Lysophosphatidic acid, bio-molecule derived from soy beans, helps reduce the appearance of pores.

  • Glycolic acid

  • Glycolic acid is a high purity, low molecular weight alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from sugar cane that helps skin renew and helps rid the skin’s surface of cellular debris to keep pores clear.

Honey extract, boswellia extract and rice extract

Honey extract, boswellia extract and rice extract

These three extracts combined have soothing and hydrating benefits that help counteract dryness and redness.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: For skincare we recommend cleansing, treatment and the moisturizer. Cleansing your skin helps remove bacteria from the surface that can contribute to breakouts. Even oily skin needs some hydration to be healthy.

Q: Is this resurfacing peel treatment suitable for use on dry skin?
Asked : Jul 14, 2018
By : Diane, Algonquin, IL
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The treatment is appropriate for all skin types however. Many times what your number one concern with your skin may not be the concern you actually need to treat. Your skin could be dehydrated or there could be other various factors that are truly the underlying issue. Stress, hormones, medications, dehydration and using the incorrect products can often trigger what appears to be acne but truly is not. So a Certified Skincare Specialist can help you determine the best treatment for you.
