Essential C Cleanser is the Best

"I absolutely love this face wash. I have very sensitive skin and I'm allergic to anything with coconut in it. This is one of the only face washes that I can use that will not give me an allergic reaction and will genuinely keep my skin clear of acne. When I ran out of this face wash I decided to use something different and it completely broke my face out. As soon as I got my Murad Essential C Cleanser back, my face cleared up in 2 days. I wish more cosmetic products didn't have coconut in them (in any form) that way I could try out more products! I always buy the travel size because it fits my budget better but it will last me a few months! It only takes a pea size amount! It leaves my face feeling refreshed and bright!"

"Have used this for a few years now- since 2003 or so- and hoping it is never discontinued or reformulated to be more aggressive. Have sensitive skin that looks really good when I use this cleanser- it feels gently clarifying and leaves skin glowy and clear. The citrus is fab and reminds me of Rachel Perry citrus face wash!! My skin can break out or get itchy welts if I use the wrong products, and this cleanser has consistently left my skin looking and feeling better, calm and balanced. Please never discontinue!!"

Q&A

Is the Essential C- Cleaner Value Size ingredient as same as the normal 6.75oz size ingredient. (Or do they change formula) It seems like the Value size has different kind of essential oil in it but the normal size doesn’t. So confusing…… I use the normal size for awhile and I love it. Want to buy a Value size, but I am allergic to essential oil.
The formula is indeed the same regardless of size.

Safe on sensitive skin?
All Murad products are formulated with antioxidants, anti inflammatories and hydrators to help prevent irritation and inflammation. Dr Murad always advises those with sensitive skin to perform a patch test prior to using all over.
Can you use this on your body or just face and neck?
We have not tested it on the body. You can certainly try it.
Can this be use to control acne prone skin?
The Essential-C Cleanser is not designed to control acne prone skin. The better choice would be our Clarifying Cleanser.
