3 ripe avocados
2 (25-ounce) cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/3 cup tahini paste
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro—one of your favorites)
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Combine all ingredients in a food processor.
Pulse until smooth.
Place in serving bowl. Serve with cucumbers, bell peppers, or your other favorite vegetables.
