Oil Free Sunscreen 4.8 5 69 74
An Everyday Essential This stuff is AMAZING! I wear it daily under my make-up. I have very sensitive skin, that is always breaking out or turning red due to different products. I have no side effects with this SPF and it works! I depend on it for my daily sun protection. It is light and doesn't make my skin feel oily or dirty. I highly recommend it! July 25, 2014
Great for hot, humid weather This is the only spf higher than 15 that won't wreck my skin. It's lightweight and oil-free, a necessity in hot, humid weather. Now, if only you'd bring back the oil-free tinted sunscreen. Slightly luminous and feather-light, it was the perfect summer makeup and sunscreen in one. July 3, 2014
My favorite skin care product of all time! Hands down this is my all-time favorite skin care product and that is saying a lot. It has a light texture and soft pomegranate scent, protects the skin from sun damage and a sheer tint that may cause you to leave your foundation. My combination skin just drinks this up and loves the finish which is both soft and not oily. November 7, 2013
Perfect makeup/sunscreen This is my second tube of this product. I was amazed at how well it worked as a foundation, as well as a sunscreen. Even if it weren't a sunscreen, I would use it as makeup. The texture is great - not too heavy, but does cover, the color is perfect for me, which is very unusual for me. I don't know whether it comes in different shades, but this is perfect for me. I absolutely love it! June 14, 2013

Melasma

Could you tell me if the ingredients in this product would exacerbate melasma? I've read on a few forums that avobenzone and oxybenzone could possibly trigger or make melasma worse - is there any truth to that? Thank you!

Answer:
One of the most common treatments for melasma is sun protection. This means wearing sunscreen every day and reapplying the sunscreen every 2 hours. Dermatologists also recommend wearing a wide-brimmed hat when you are outside. Sunscreen alone may not give you the protection you need.

When it comes to what you should and should not use, I would recommend working with your physician as they know you and your needs best.
