Acne Complex® / Usage instructions

The key to success is to use the product regularly, even as your skin beings to clear. However, as with any new skincare regimen, your skin may need time to adjust.

To start, we recommend the following morning and evening regiment:

In the morning:
Wash your face with a dime size amount of the Clarifying Cleanser.
Rinse and pat dry. Apply a dime size of the Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel and leave on your skin. Wait a few seconds to dry. Apply a dime size amount of the Skin Perfecting Lotion (use more if your skin is dry). As for the Acne Spot Treatment, you may use that morning and night. Just apply that to each individual blemish, it is only a spot treatment. Do not apply it all over your face.

In the evening:
Wash your face a dime size amount of the Clarifying Cleanser. Rinse and pat dry. Apply a dime size of the Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel and leave on your skin.
Wait a few seconds to dry. For the first two weeks, only apply this product during the evening so that your skin may become acclimated to it. As for the Acne Spot Treatment you may use that morning and night. Just apply that to each individual blemish, it is only a spot treatment. Do not apply it all over your face.

Use the Clarifying Mask 2-3 times a week to help deep clean your pores, reduce redness and to help prevent breakouts. Apply a thin layer of the Clarifying Mask to cleansed skin, let it dry for 10 minutes and then rinse completely with warm water and pat dry. After sing this product simply apply the Skin Perfecting Lotion to your skin.

Whenever you begins using a new skin care line, your skin goes through what is called a "Purging Process". This occurs because the product is actively cleansing and bringing all the trapped oil & impurities to the surface of your skin, which can cause you to break out more. Your skin will also experience some sensitivity and tingling. Itchiness, burning and puffiness are not normal. We do recommend that when people experience this purging process that day continue to use the products, however we have included a modified regimen below so that the purging will be less severe for you. Please know that this process is different for everyone. We have spoken to some customers who do not experience purging and some have experienced purging up to 4 weeks. For the next two weeks, only apply this product during the evening so that your skin may become acclimated to it. Apply a dime size amount of the Skin Perfecting Lotion (use more if your skin is dry). No Acne Spot Treatment in the evening for 2 weeks.
