General Description:
The leader in clinical skincare in both the retail and professional arenas is seeking a Director of Education, to report into the Global Marketing department. This position will work directly with the research and development team and the marketing and brand managers in translating science terminology into education modules for the general consumer and the esthetic community. Summary of Position:
Prestigious national beauty brand seeks experienced media professional with extensive Long Form media and Short Form buying and campaign management experience to manage large national account. Additional Short Form DRTV, online, Print and DM planning experience a plus! Ideal candidate will be located in Los Angeles area and be available to visit agency partners in Portland, OR and Philadelphia, PA on a regular basis. Will consider remote candidate. Media Manager will be responsible for day to day management of Agency partners managing day to day media buy and optimization strategy for optimum ROI. This position is primarily responsible for all corporate Financial Planning and Analysis functions including, but not limited to: 1. Develop and present all financial metrics to executive management team. Prepare presentations and various analyses including variance explanations for month end and quarter end close. 2. The Media Relations Manager will oversee all media relations efforts including, but not limited to, ensuring all goals laid out by the CMO and Senior Manager are met or exceeded, leading the media relations strategy, detailing the execution plan, managing the executing staff and reporting on actual to goal progress. In addition, this position will lead international strategy working closely with the Murad International Marketing and Sales Teams as well as the International Distributors to educate and grow the PR strength in developing and existing international markets. The candidate must possess extensive beauty and public relations experience who can think both creatively and strategically to position the brand for success. This person should also have their finger on the pulse of beauty, entertainment, pop culture and also have a vast network of beauty and lifestyle contacts within the print, broadcast and digital landscapes. The Media Relations Manager will report to the Senior Manager, Public Relations and will assist as needed in seeing that all print, broadcast and digital public relations efforts align with the company’s overall brand strategy and marketing plan.
