The Benefits

Brightening and smoothing effects similar to a chemical peel are enhanced by gentle Bamboo Bead microdermabrasion. Debris and exhausted cells are swept away to reveal youthful-looking skin while Glycolic and Salicylic Acids stimulate cell proliferation. Skin looks younger and feels smoother after just one treatment.

How to Use

After cleansing and toning, gently smooth onto face and neck. Leave on for up to 10 minutes and gently rinse with warm water. For best results, use once per week. Formula is intense and if you have sensitive skin, you may only be able to leave product on for a few minutes to start. With continued use, product can be left on for longer increments. For optimal results, follow with recommended Murad moisturizer and sunblock.

Intensive Resurfacing Peel 4.3 5 10 10
Awesome Treatment! I just had to write a review on this product! I LOVE this peel! My skin looks so clear and bright after using it, usually better on the second day after using it. I also use it with another peel from a direct sales company first. I leave that on for ten minutes, and then I put the Murad peel on top and leave that on for 10 minutes. I then use a more abrasive microderm abrasion product from the same direct sales company to slough off any dead skin cells. I use a facial spin brush for that. My skin feels so soft afterwards! I can easily get two to three treatments from one little bottle of the Murad peel. September 18, 2014
Great for sensitive skin I was afraid to use this at first because I have extremely sensitive skin. I decided to be brave and go ahead and try a patch test. NO reaction at all!! I was a smoker for 40+ years and that had left alot of lines around my lips. After 3 treatments I started seeing those lines become less noticeable. Yeah! A reward for quiting smoking! Thank you murad! February 22, 2012
Great Product I'm loving this product-- use it 2-3x/week and my skin always has a wonderful glow afterward. There isn't a lot of the uncomfortable tightening and my skin doesn't feel dry or dehydrated when I'm done. I recommend this product to anyone hoping to clean away what a long busy week leaves behind. October 10, 2011
Works Well The Intensive Resurfacing Peel left my skin so soft; I was amazed and found myself looking forward to using it again! Seems that the price is reasonable - roughly $10 a treatment. October 3, 2011

Answer:
Murad does not release the percentages of ingredients in our formulas except when required by law. We consider our formulas proprietary however I can tell you that all formulas follow FDA and CIR recommendations and have the appropriate pH to provide the best environment for your skin.

By looking at just an ingredient, not the formulation, you can indeed miss out on the bigger picture. It is similar to a recipe. You can not have a good chocolate cake without things like eggs, flour, milk etc. While it is chocolate, all the ingredients is what makes it so good.

Answer:
The Intensive Resurfacing Peel is great for helping to exfoliate the surface of the skin to keep new cells coming to the top so it can help improve the overall appearance of the skin however the Post Acne Marks Lightening Gel is wonderful!

Post Acne Spot Lightening Gel: Targets unwanted pigmentation to improve overall skin tone and clarity using 2% hydroquinone. This patented formula including glycolic acid helps to exfoliate to reveal cleaner, healthier skin. Licorice extract and allantoin reduce redness and irritation.

Spots?

I have been using the resurgence for 6 weeks, my face looks so much better. My age spots lightened, skin looking brighter, less wrinkles. I seen this, thought I would try it. After one use my age spots and dark areas are darker now. Thought this was suppose to help with skin imperfections? What happened?

Answer:
Are you wearing SPF every day? We can get sun damage even on a cloudy day.

An SPF 15 protects against 94% of UVB rays whiles an SPF 30 protects against 97%. Anything higher is only about a 1% increase which can provide people with a false sense of security. The reality is that most people don't apply enough. It takes 30mls (about the size of a shot glass) of sunscreen to fully protect the average body from head to toe. One teaspoon of that should be on your face. Protection can be decreased with clothing rubbing the sunscreen off, sweating or being in water. In light of the various factors that can decrease protection we do recommend reapplying once every 2 hours to maintain a constant level of protection, regardless of the SPF.
