Glycolic Acid

Sugar cane is the surprising source of the Glycolic Acid used in Dr. Murad’s formulas. Glycolic is a member of a class of naturally occurring substances called Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) that have been used to refresh complexions since Cleopatra took her first milk bath. AHA’s exfoliate by loosening the bonds that bind dulling dead cells to skin’s surface. Dr. Murad discovered that Glycolic acid is uniquely well suited to skincare because it gently and evenly exfoliates to smooth skin while stimulating natural renewal of the surface. Dr. Murad also discovered that adding Glycolic Acid to many of his formulas makes it easier for other key skincare ingredients to penetrate deep into the skin’s surface layers.

Best cleanser ever!
Recommended by a Murad esthetician because my skin was dry and flat and had bumps and blackheads. I use it at night and it feels SOOOO good after taking my makeup off after a long day. It really gets in there... maybe not great for really sensitive skin. But my face is absolutely GLOWING after. The next morning, it's even better. Following with your Murad night regime for best results. Got my girlfriends hooked on it too!

Bright Skin Revelaed
I am obsessed with this product! It is so gentle yet uber effective! I use this with my Clarisonic 3-4x a week for an extra intensive clarification. This has little, yet super gentle, exfoliating beads that melt into the skin. After you wash away the cleanser, your skin will be so bright and refreshed. This is good for all skin types, even sensitive ones!

polishes and exfoliates
Definitely a go-to product. Has a light creamy consistency that wont clog pores. Contains polishing granules.
I use in conjunction with the Refreshing Cleanser twice a week to give my skin a nice deep exfoliation.
At first try it made my skin flake and get dry but I chalk that up to it exfoliation dead layers off. Afterwards, with consistent use that problem is non-existent. Gives me a nice refreshed glow
