A board-certified dermatologist, trained pharmacist, and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) at the Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. Murad has personally treated over 50,000 patients. In 1989 he founded Murad, Inc. as a way to share his groundbreaking skincare formulas, which were among the first to achieve significant measurable anti-aging results without surgery. Dr. Murad continues his innovative research and holds 18 patents for advances in the science of skin health. Richard S. Murad—General Manager
In his dual capacities as General Manager and General Counsel, Richard has overall responsibility for Murad's marketing and sales functions as well as the day-to-day operations of the business. He is also responsible for leading strategic planning, customer service, new business development and all legal affairs.
Richard joined Murad, Inc. in 1996 as General Counsel and in 1999 he became responsible for directing the operations team. In 2003 he was formally named Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, and thereafter was promoted to General Manager.
Prior to joining Murad, Richard specialized in civil litigation and was a partner in a law firm in New York City. Richard holds an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University.
Hilarie Murad—President, Murad Family Foundation
As President of the Murad Family Foundation, Hilarie oversees all aspects of the organization, and ensures that all funding aligns with the Foundation's mission to advance the health of Southern California's children by expanding access to fitness and nutrition education. Founded in 2011 by the Murad family, the Foundation is an extension of Dr. Murad's ongoing philanthropic efforts, which include volunteering countless hours with at-risk children and veterans in the local community and producing The Art of Giving, an annual charity art show where proceeds from each painting go to the charity of the buyer's choice.
Prior to overseeing the Murad Family Foundation, Hilarie served as General Manager of Murad UK, where she managed the direct-to-consumer business. Additionally, Hilarie acted as President of the Murad Inclusive Health Spa® and, prior to that, General Manager of Global Marketing, where she was responsible for companywide marketing initiatives and successfully restructured several key departments including product development and packaging. Hilarie originally joined Murad, Inc. in 1996 as a customer service representative.
Hilarie holds a Bachelor of Arts in comparative politics from Clark University in Massachusetts and a Certificate in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, California.

Linda Murad—Director, Event Planning
Linda joined Murad, Inc. in 2007 as Event Planning Director. Previously Linda worked for American Ballet Theatre in development, Grey Advertising as a media planner, Vanity Fair magazine in marketing, and The Silver Palate as manager of the New York flagship store, selling the company's signature products to national retailers and organizing large parties and corporate events.
Linda attended the State University of New York at Albany, where she graduated magna cum laude. She is an avid tennis player and was a nationally ranked amateur for five years.
