Biography

When it comes to skincare, no one has devoted
more time and effort to making beautiful, healthy
skin attainable for everyone than Howard Murad,
M.D., FAAD. Dr. Murad is a board-certified
dermatologist, trained pharmacist and Associate
Clinical Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) at the
Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA. He has changed
how the world sees skincare through his pioneering
research and clinical studies into The Science of
Cellular Water™, now recognized as the world's
most comprehensive approach to understanding
health and aging.

Dr. Murad's Inclusive Health philosophy sets Murad
apart from other dermatologists, spas and brands
as it emphasizes that skin is not only the body's
largest organ but is connected to, and reflective of,
the health of all systems in the body. Murad's
products deliver the results that have made Murad
one of the world's premier clinical skincare brands.
Holding 18 patents, Dr. Murad is considered a
leading visionary in the fields of skincare and
dermatology. He is known as the "Father of Internal

philosophy for healthier skin and overall wellness in
his four books, including The Water Secret: The
Cellular Breakthrough to Look and Feel 10 Years
Younger
  (Wiley, 2010), which became a #1
bestseller at Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.

He is also the author of The Cellulite Solution (St.
Martin's Press, 2005), Wrinkle-Free Forever: The

Skincare Philosophy

“As a dermatologist, pharmacist and researcher,
I have devoted my life to making beautiful, healthy
skin attainable for everyone.

A healthy complexion is a reflection of total
wellness both inside and out. This, in turn, creates
a healthy environment for the skin so that if
problems do arise, they resolve more easily.
Furthermore, skincare can lead the way to overall
health. Take all the necessary steps to achieve
healthy skin—including the right products, the
proper nutrients (from both food and supplements)
and positive lifestyle choices—and over time, your
whole body will be healthier too.”
