Directors

Brandon Adams—Global Director, Murad Inclusive Health Center®
As Global Director of MIHC, Brandon is responsible for the overall development, growth and industry positioning of MIHC as the next generation of wellness and healthy aging treatment centers, powered by Dr. Murad’s philosophy of The Cellular Water Principle®.

Prior to joining Murad, Brandon worked with Life Time Fitness, creating the LifeSpa brand while managing all day-to-day financial, marketing and service operations across 70 locations nationally.

Over his 18-year career, Brandon has had the opportunity to consult on several diverse spa, fitness and destination resort projects, including Williams Island Spa, Park Place Entertainment, Caesar’s Gaming, Boca Developers and Oceania Properties.

Brandon attended New Mexico State University and University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. He is a former master swimming competitor and has competed in 16 USA Triathlon events.


Camy Brullo—Director, Murad Distribution Center
As Director of the Murad Distribution Center, Camy is responsible for inventory and order fulfillment for all distribution channels. Camy supervises 49 full-time employees working in six different departments.

Camy has 30 years’ experience in distribution centers in Denver and Los Angeles. Immediately prior to joining Murad, Camy served as Regional Manager for a nationwide janitorial supplies distributor, overseeing five facilities on the West Coast.

Camy is involved with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.


Cliff Crumley—Executive Creative Director
As Executive Creative Director, Cliff is responsible for collaborating with Global Marketing to develop brand communications strategies and supervise the implementation of those strategies in packaging, advertising and collateral.

Prior to joining Murad, Cliff had an extensive career in the advertising industry. Cliff began his training in New York where he worked as an art director for D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and Sacks and Rosen. Relocating to Los Angeles, Cliff worked for Eisaman Johns & Law, The Sachs Group, and ICEbox Advertising, where he was Executive Creative Director. His wide-ranging experience includes cosmetic brands Murad, Strivectin and Neutrogena; toy brands Mattel, Bandai, Playmates, Ertl and TOMY; and packaged goods brands Charmin, Crystal Light, Scope and Pampers.

Cliff has taught advertising design at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in advertising design.


Rodelaine de Pano—Senior Director, Direct Brands
As the Senior Director of Direct Brands, Rodelaine is responsible for driving brand growth and monitoring profit and loss across all direct channels for Murad’s Acne Complex®, Resurgence® and Environmental Shield® lines.

Prior to joining Murad, Rodelaine was at Johnson & Johnson, working across various brands and operating companies. Her positions ranged from Assistant Product Director to Product Director on Johnson’s Baby, Aveeno, and Ortho-TriCyclen. Most recently at Neutrogena (also a Johnson & Johnson company), Rodelaine held the position of Product Director on Sun Care before being promoted to Group Brand Director on skin iD.

Rodelaine holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University, where she majored in marketing and finance. She received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.


Ryan Eberhard—Senior Director, eCommerce and Online Marketing
As Senior Director of eCommerce and Online Marketing, Ryan oversees web initiatives in support of the Murad Inclusive Health Spa®, Murad Inclusive Health Medical Group and University for Inclusive Health .

Prior to joining Murad, Ryan was the Director of Business Development and Acquisition Products at MyLife.com. He also held the position of Manager of Web Middleware and Database Development at Carnegie Mellon University, where he completed a Master of Business Administration and received a Bachelor of Science in logic and computation.


Jennifer Fredette—Director, Education
As Director of Education, Jennifer develops and implements educational initiatives that embody the Murad brand’s global marketing message. Jennifer is also responsible for overseeing product education and training for Murad’s National division.

Jennifer comes to Murad from European retail brand Lierac, where she headed U.S. training for beauty advisors in pharmacies such as CVS, Longs, Duane Reade and Rite Aid. At Repêchage, Jennifer developed esthetic curriculums, managed train-the-trainer programs, facilitated skincare conferences and trained spa professionals on signature treatments for resorts and spas.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in history with a minor in business and French from Adrian College in Michigan. She completed her licensing program in esthetics at Christine Valmy International School, New York.


Margarett Gaal—Director of Human Resources
As Director of Human Resources, Margarett is responsible for personnel and benefits issues for Murad’s nearly 300 employees.

With over 20 years of experience in human resources, Margarett has worked for companies in the beauty, high tech, engineering and consultative service industries. Prior to joining Murad, Margarett was Senior Human Resources Manager at Intersperse Inc., a business monitoring software company, where she was responsible for building the human resources infrastructure from the ground up and hiring IT personnel. Her experience also includes a term as Senior Human Resources Generalist for Experian, Inc., a nationally known credit reporting company, where she supported over 4,000 employees in 13 western states.

Margarett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and is a nationally certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA) Chapter 6.


Charles Jones—Senior Director, Supply Chain
Charles is responsible for supply chain management, including the design, planning, execution, control and monitoring of inventory processes with the objective of competitive infrastructure and synchronizing supply with demand.

Charles has over 15 years’ experience managing supply chains in fast-paced retail environments. During his career, he has worked for companies such as Home Depot, Henkel, Schwarzkopf, Ashworth and Arbonne. His successes include implementing both SAP and Oracle advanced supply chain planning modules; designing, planning and managing a pick-by-light distribution center; and strategically building a solid supply chain infrastructure to consistently maintain 99% customer service fill rate while reducing inventories by more than 40%, reaching inventory turns in excess of six.

Charles majored in mechanical engineering at San Diego State University, where he received two first-place science awards for his model approach to theories related to thermodynamics and the 21st century.


Ariya Kittichaikarn—Director, Sales for Asia-Pacific Markets
As Sales Director for Asia-Pacific markets, Ariya is in charge of leading the Asian market to new heights by expanding Murad’s presence in Thailand, Taiwan, the People’s Republic of China, Vietnam and Japan.

Ariya brings extensive marketing, sales and operations experience to Murad. He previously worked with L’Oreal’s Luxury Products Division on brands such as Lancôme, Biotherm, Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani.

Ariya earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at Assumption University in Bangkok and completed a Master of Business Administration at Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, Chulalongkorn University.


Andrea Koons—Senior Director, Global Marketing
As Senior Director of Global Marketing, Andrea is responsible for overseeing new product launches and promotional activities, both domestically and internationally. Andrea has been an integral part of the Murad Marketing department since 2001, where she started as a brand manager.

Andrea’s 15-year career in health and beauty marketing began with international fashion designers at Parlux Fragrances, where she played a key role in the launch of several prestige fragrances. Expanding on this experience, she worked with direct marketing pioneer Mary Kay Inc. in product development and marketing of aromatherapy, sun, body, skincare and color.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami. Outside the office, she embraces Murad’s Inclusive Health® philosophy through her passions of yoga and cupcake baking.


Carlos Martinez—Director, Quality Assurance
As Director of Quality Assurance, Carlos develops, implements and manages Murad’s overall quality assurance program. In this position, he is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards from suppliers, contract manufacturers, and research and development laboratories, as well as Murad’s distribution center, quality assurance laboratory, product development and marketing. In addition, Carlos audits current and prospective contract manufacturers, reviewing qualifications and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Murad quality requirements.

Carlos joined Murad in 2001 as Quality Assurance Manager, moving to Director in 2008. Before joining Murad, Carlos gained extensive experience in quality assurance at Cado Systems, Versyss Inc. and Q-Run Corporation.

Carlos has a Bachelor of Science in industrial technology/quality assurance from California State University, Long Beach.


Lisa Nielsen, CPA—Controller
As Controller, Lisa manages the Finance and Accounting departments under the direction of the EVP of Finance. She joined Murad in September 2007 with over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance. While working as an auditor for Deloitte in Salt Lake City, Lisa gained experience in several industries, including financial services, retail, manufacturing, and not-for-profit. Subsequent to her public accounting experience, Lisa worked as the European Regional Controller for Tahitian Noni International and as a Divisional Controller for FranklinCovey. Lisa has a Master of Accountancy degree from Brigham Young University and is a Certified Public Accountant.


Matthew Schwartz—National Sales Director, Professional Division
As Director of Sales, Eastern Region, Matthew manages the day-to-day business of Murad’s Professional division east of the Mississippi and runs the sales and educational teams.

Matthew’s career at Murad began in 2003 as Regional Sales Manager, Eastern Region.
Matthew has over 11 years’ experience in the skincare industry, including a position as the Vice President of Sales for DDF Skincare, where he ran both the Professional and Retail divisions.


Nishi Shah—Senior Director, Finance
In her role as Senior Director of Finance for Murad, Inc., Nishi Shah is responsible for managing the Murad budgeting and forecasting processes, developing the short and long-term strategic plans, and performing marketing analytics for all divisions. She has been tasked with analyzing the ROI for marketing campaigns and developing a cross-channel media optimization plan that will strengthen the overall financial health for Murad brands and achieve the corporate strategic goals. Shah will report directly to General Manager Richard Murad.

Shah began her career as a Marketing Specialist for Lasco Bathware, Inc. where she worked directly with top retail and wholesale partners to successfully market and sell product. She also managed the development of product packaging for more than 200 products across eight manufacturing facilities. She then moved to direct-to-consumer marketing firm Guthy-Renker, LLC, where she was a key stakeholder in the acquisition and validation of data, and helped ensure trackability of all marketing programs through campaign management tools. Her efforts helped improve the efficiencies and strength in more accurate analytics. An avid problem solver, Shah analyzed financial performance across brands for both domestic and international markets, identified growth hurdles and proposed solutions to reduce inefficiencies in media spending and increase overall customer lifetime value.

Shah is a native Californian and currently resides in Santa Monica, Calif.


Christopher Soto—Director, Information Technology
As Director of Information Technology at Murad, Chris is responsible for maintaining the technological infrastructure and helping the company achieve its goals through leading-edge software and hardware solutions. Murad technology includes enterprise solutions from leading vendors such as Oracle, EMC, Cisco, Foundry Networks, HP and Microsoft.

Chris joined Murad in 1999 as an Oracle Applications Developer. Since then, he became a Database Administrator and further, managed the Oracle environment. With a background in systems administration, network administration, programming, web services and database marketing, he has been able to create solutions to help the business grow.

Chris has a Bachelor of Science in management science with a minor in computer science from the University of California, San Diego.


Lynn Williford—Senior Field Operations Director, U.S. and Canada
As Senior Field Operations Director, Lynn manages the implementation of strategic plans for retail partners Sephora, Ulta and Bath & Body Works.

Lynn joined Murad in 2003 as the Regional Sales Manager for the East Coast, and in 2007 was appointed to Field Sales Director, National.

Lynn’s passion for field sales management and team development began early in her career. Lynn’s work experience includes 12 years with Giorgio Beverly Hills/Proctor & Gamble, where she was an account executive and regional manager, and three years with Frederick’s of Hollywood, where she was Regional Manager, East.

Lynn holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance performance from East Carolina University.
